Let’s Get Real…

For me, performing is about more than being on stage - it's about feeling alive. As a young woman living with Type 1 Diabetes, I've learned to navigate the ups and downs of managing my condition. When working in the theatre, I feel a sense of certainty and stability, which I don't always feel in my daily life. It's a reminder that I'm capable of more than I know, and that my diagnosis doesn’t define me. I have been performing for longer than I have been a Type 1 Diabetic, and I am proud to use my passion for performance as a vehicle to advocate for change and representation in my community.
